Harvesting Coriander Seeds

My herb garden was a little neglected while we were on holiday. Thankfully it rained while we were away and somehow nearly everything was actually flourishing on my return. I had previously pulled off the coriander heads that had gone to seed and stored them in a paperbag to dry them out. I have collected the seeds and now they are ready for planting or cooking. I find it exciting that all the seeds came from just two small plants. I don’t think I used the leaves fast enough last season so next season I will plant more, but freeze the extra leaves that I can’t get to. Hopefully I am successful growing the plants from seed, as I have never done that before. Slowly I am learning more and more about gardening and it makes me feel just a little more mature.
