Tissue Paper Flowers

For some reason I felt inspired to make some tissue paper flowers. It was a little it random of me as I am not entirely sure where they are going. I love having real flowers in the house but it isn’t always possible. They currently sit next to a Reed Diffuser in our living room, so the reeds actually match the skewers used for the flower stems. They would be a very simple decoration to use for a bedside table, bathroom, cabinet, book shelf and so forth. I simply accordion folded some tissue paper and tied string around the middle to food in half and fan out, like you would a tissue pom pom. They probably need a little more work, but it could also be a cute way to decorate a wrapped gift for someone.
