Quick Chocolate Fudge Slice

I recently discovered a super quick chocolate slice recipe. It takes less than ten minutes to make and then you just pop it in the fridge ready to cut when set. I am yet to experiment with different flavoured biscuits to see how the taste differs, but I think Malt biscuits would be quite a good one to try. This is definitely going to become a favourite when I need to make something sweet in a hurry!

Chocolate Fudge Slice

125g Butter
1/2 cup Sugar
1T Cocoa
1 Egg
1t Vanilla Essence
1 Packet of plain biscuits (I used Wine Biscuits)

Melt butter with sugar and cocoa slowly in a pot until blended. Remove from heat. As this cools a little, crush biscuits with a food processor (if you are crushing biscuits with a slower method then you should do this before melting butter). Add egg and vanilla essence to butter mixture, mixing well. Add crushed biscuits to mixture and mix well. Press into a square or rectangular slice tin. Set in the fridge.
