It amazes me how much the cost of some children’s clothing is, and I just can’t bear to pay it knowing they won’t fit them for very long. I recently popped into The Baby Factory to try get a couple more long sleeve tops. I found a couple of plain blue skivvies going for NZ$2 each so I snapped them up. Israel doesn’t need to enter a fashion contest, he just needs to be a little bit warmer.
I decided to spruce them up a little with what is a very simple design. I had some felt, thread and buttons at home and so with a bit of hand stitching these were whipped up relatively quickly. (Much quicker than me trying to knit that mini baby top the other day!) They aren’t going to win any awards, but the tops are definitely less plain now.
